As part of our Minny Stynker R and D, we are offering a series of workshops in the coming months for you and your family on:

SATURDAY 13th MAY, 10am-12 noon at Front Room W-S-M

TUESDAY 16th and 23rd of MAY, 3.30pm-5pm at The Art Shed Winscombe

Please email soapsouptheatrecompany@gmail.com to book your place, and follow us on Instagram for updates on where and when they will be taking place.

Using collage, doodles and creative games, we will design and create our own imaginary friend character and bring them to life using our Augmented Reality App, created alongside Zubr Curio. If you wish, your work can also go on show as part of an in-person and online exhibition at Bristol’s Knowle West Media Centre on the 25th of May, where you can meet all the other imaginary friends that have been made by those taking part in our project nationally!
The workshop is led by Tomasin Cuthbert, Artistic Director of Soap Soup Theatre, a multi-disciplinary specialising in Visual Problem solving and World Building for Theatre and Narrative, as well as Illustration, Set and Costume Design, Puppetry and performance.

All the children that take part will ALSO get access to Chapter one of the Minny Stynker Augmented Reality Experience when it is ready to Pilot in early summer 2023, and be a part of the development of a professional piece of Creative Technology!
